Face recognition solutions based on #AI are frequently used in our everyday lives, bearing consequences regarding #privacy. In this context, it is critical to understand and most importantly explain how these technologies work, to ensure #safety and #acceptance by #society. This is the goal of the European research project Chistera XAIface, coordinated by #EURECOM and @Dugelay Jean-luc, on Measuring and Improving Explainability for AI-based Face Recognition.
